Distance Learning:
Distance Learning:
Rather than face-to-face interaction in the same physical space, distance learning allows the teacher and learners to all be in different locations when they come together to learn.
Synchronous Learning:
Synchronous Learning:
By following the Brentwood schedule and MySchool academic calendar, each teacher will host a meeting at the scheduled time (Pacific Daylight Savings Time) and welcome their students into the room to interact in real-time.
Asynchronous Learning:
Asynchronous Learning:
No live whole class interactions will occur. Students will be able to access their teacher through an arranged time to gain support for their learning by asking questions, sharing their progress, etc. Teachers may also provide material with the expectation that students will complete the work prior to a synchronous meeting.
